CHECK OUT THE SPEEDPAINT [link] This is my contest entry for =iamthemanwithglasses's Contest.
I am really getting into Minecraft, the game is so awesome and fun. It lets you expand your own world, let you be creative and do whatever you want. Survive against hordes of monsters and craft hundreds of items. From punching a tree to killing a dragon, this game really packs a real punch.
What I totally LOVE of this game is how united with the fans it is, players can create their own mods (modifications) of the game to get more juice for it, create texture packs to make it look even beter, to create from the simpliest SMP player map to a gigantic and extraordinary Adventure map that will give you a superb adventure. Minecraft is one of the best games ever made.
And what a better combination of Sonic IN Minecraft? I actually had this thought because I won a contest and one of the prizes was wining a short story, I thought :" Why not create a story about Sonic in Minecraft?" And this was born. If I don't get the story soon, I'll write it on my own, and if I get the chance, animate it into a full packed series.
I totally love how this came and the first sketch had a pig and a creeper in it. But I didn't liked it so I added the cave and these Enderman's eyes inside of the cave, seemly like stalking Sonic xD And to be honest, I like the coloring here, especially on the tree.

Overall Vision Originality Technique Impactat first glance i knew this was Minecraft, mainly from the glowing Enderman eyes in the cave though partly because of the title. I think that sonic's expression is hilarious, he's like "what the heck is going on" (Sonic Unleashed reference for the win!). Though since sonic travels at the speed of light, it kinda defeats the purpose of Minecraft. Build, mine and fight to survive, but that's the only down side, the Deviation is amazing like all your other ones and to be honest, I now want to find a Sonic The Hedgehog mod for Minecraft (4.5). I don't normally do critiques (since I suck at them). But i did tis for you because your awesome and you deserve it C=
